ABOUT GATEWAY
The Gateway Foundation was established to provide opportunities for mentorship, training and education to ex-offenders and recovering drug addicts. The Gateway Foundation is about making our society safer and more stable, not by opening more prisons, but by steering ex-offenders and addicts towards a better life, real prospects, employment...and a future that they care about.
Gateway receives no government funding. It is a registered, UK charity that depends entirely on the generosity of our supporters.
The Gateway Foundation evaluates every single case on its own merit. Anyone can apply for support, however this must be accompanied by a letter of support from a church, probation officer, prison, social worker or other professional qualified to comment on the individual case.
The Gateway Foundation will gather together information and usually interview the individual prior to commencing production of a support plan. Once receiving the support of the Gateway Foundation, the individual will be mentored and supported in a multitude of different ways - all individually tailored to the needs of the individual in achieving set goals.
