INFORMATION FOR CHURCHES
Welcome! And thank you for taking the time to visit our site.
The Gateway Foundation would like to partner with your church to help build a network of mentoring groups and supportive communities throughout the UK.
From our current base in Solihull, we help many people, but there are many others, throughout the country for whom the distance is simply too far to travel.
The remit of the foundation is wide and varied, but essentially involves an individual approaching a church, probation officer, prison chaplain or other official, to gain referral to the foundation's programme.
This is very important as it ensures that the individual has sought assistance and advice from someone locally who can help to maintain their progress.

The foundation works with churches in two ways - either by accepting and considering individual applications from churches in respect of individual people to receive support from the foundation, or by partnering with the church and providing training and structure to enable the church to offer the support of the foundation to a wider group at a local level.
The Gateway Foundation is a Christian charity, but considers applications from all backgrounds. We often find that an individual goes on to become a member of the church simply because the support of faith becomes a huge part of their recovery - but this is not a pre-requisite.
Our objective is to transform lives that would otherwise continue the cycle of self and social destruction - and to offer these people opportunities to re-join society as positive and contributing members, |
