On behalf of the Gateway family we want to say huge thank you for supporting and standing with us on behalf of the lives of others. This Christmas will mean so much more to those who have been helped and touched by your generosity. The Trustees wish to express their sincere thanks to Kelvin Stribblehill who manages the Foundation along with his support network of volunteer mentors. On a personal note my heart leaps for joy everytime I hear Kelvin tell me of another person we have managed to help.
God Bless you and have an awesome 2009

Gateway opening doors
Wednesday, December 24th, 2008
The Gateway Christmas meal was a time when the work and service of the Gateway foundation was displayed to all that attended. Friends joined us for the event and were so impressed with the results of Gateway that they want to model the ethos, values and programme itself in the Sheffield region. Clyde a former addict and criminal had his life transformed whilst in prison five years ago. Along with his wife Bekah he is active in the local community and constantly looking for new ways to help those trapped in dysfunctional lifestyles. After speaking at Gateway meetings himself and being enthused by the seven step series, Clyde is about to be… Read More

Martin (name changed to protect identity) used to be in a mess. Years of Cocaine and alcohol abuse had rendered him unable to keep even his own personal hygeine up to scratch. After accessing the support and mentorship of the Gateway foundation Martin is now a different man. He recently started his own car valeting business and is cleaning up. He has numerous regular clients through the support of the church congregation and is known for working to a standard of excellence. A man who previously found it hard to brush his teeth is clean and tidy and is making cars gleam throughout the region. If you live in the vicinity of Solihull… Read More

CHRISTmas cheer
Friday, December 19th, 2008
Wednesday 17th December 2008. A day that will never be forgotten. It was the Gateway Christmas meal, and we had an amazing time. The church was decked out so professionally that the members bought tears to the staff member's eyes by asking if this was all for them. The staff said of course and more. We had 50 people in attendance and 21 members with long term histories of class A drug abuse with their guests. We also had our trustees and patron in attendance. The trustees served alongside the catering staff. Badlands ( an extremely talented rock band) kindly offered to play a set off their album. All members were fed well and socialised… Read More
Partnership develops
Friday, December 19th, 2008
One of the exciting opportunities we have through Gateway is to partner with other agencies and organizations in bringing transformation to the lives of men and women. A few weeks ago I met with Adulam housing that have already helped us to re-house several people on their road to recovery. I also visited Noel and Angela Williams who run a centre for broken women in Coventry called 'Embrace'. As I was sharing my story tears were pouring from their faces it was very moving. Embrace made a very generous donation also for the work of Gateway. Please continue to pray for more partnerships that can help us make a difference. Read More
I’m not a stranger to mercy
Monday, December 15th, 2008Maria accessed Gateway foundation just over three weeks ago from an area near Mansfield . I couldn’t describe what this poor woman had experienced all throughout her childhood up until the present day at the hands of her family. One of the reasons is that if a child read this post they would be traumatised by the content of Maria’s life. I’ll leave that to your mature imagination.

Over the weekend I was visiting young men at the Parc Prison in Bridgend. The response was incredible as these vulnerable young men were aged between 15-18 who's lives had been battered through broken homes and drug addiction. As I shared my story I really felt it offered them hope. Please pray for these young guys who are desiring to change we can make a difference! Read More
